Configure and Setup Email

Email FAQs
Incoming Server Settings
- IMAP or POP3 (IMAP is recommended)
- Server = mail.pmt.org
- Port Number for IMAP =Choose between 993 or 143
- Port Number for POP3 = Choose between 995 or 110
- Username = your full email address
- Password = your email password
Outgoing Server Settings
- SMTP
- Server = mail.pmt.org
- Port Number = Choose between 587, 465, or 25
- Username = your full email address
- Password = your email password
- Navigate to mail.pmt.org in your web browser. (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, etc.)
- Login with your email address and email password.
- On the left side of the screen, click on "Spam Management".
- Then, under the green Enable button click on "Show More".
- Then in the menu that shows up below, click on "From: Blacklist”.
- In the window that pops up there will be a box to the right of "Enter new value:". In this box, enter the email address or email domain you want to blacklist.
- Finally, click on the “Add” button the right to add the email to your blacklist.
- Click on “Close Window” on the bottom when finished.

- Navigate to mail.pmt.org in your web browser. (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, etc.)
- Login with your email address and email password.
- On the left side of the screen, click on “Spam Management”.
- Then, on the left side of the screen again, under “Spam Management”, click on “Quarantined Mail”.
- Here you can view mail that was blocked and did not reach your inbox or spam folder.
- My email client is no longer receiving emails.
- Ensure that the email server (host) settings are correct and that your email address and password are spelt correctly in your account settings.
- If the settings are correct but you still are not receiving emails, delete the email address and readd it to the client.
- NOTE: IF YOU ARE USING POP3 AND YOU DELETE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, ALL OF YOUR EMAILS WILL BE DELETED, BACK UP YOUR EMAILS IF NEEDED.
- If you are using a VPN, ensure that it is disabled or that it is using an IP address that is within the United States.
- I’m not receiving emails from a specific address or domain.
- You will need to add the sender’s email address or domain to your whitelist.
- I’m receiving emails that I don’t want to receive.
- In webmail, you can select an email then click “Block” in the top tool bar to block the sender.
- You can also add the email address of the sender to your blacklist to stop receiving emails from them.
Internet FAQs
Try unplugging the Comtrend modem and your router (if you have one) from the power source. Wait thirty seconds. Plug the modem back in. Wait another minute after plugging the modem back in before plugging the router in (if you have one). If that does not fix the problem, please contact us.
*Please do not push reset button on your modem; this will cause the modem to lose the configuration.
