$313,134 was approved by Project Mutual Telephone’s Board of Directors to be paid to member customers in December 2016. The dividend each customer receives depends on the amount of business they have done with the 100 year old cooperative. The more PMT services used by each member, the larger the patronage check. This year’s dividend payment will be issued in December, and represents a portion of patronage earned in 1995 and 2015.

“Other communication companies don’t pay their customers. Doing business with a local cooperative has some definite benefits,” says PMT Board Chairman Ron Clawson. “We are happy to be able to give back to our customers…the people who keep us in business.”

Checks will be mailed the first of December. For those members receiving dividends in the amount of ten dollars or less, the credit will be applied to their December bill.
